As that historic moment approached when women in Saudi Arabia were allowed to take the seat behind the wheel for the first time, we wanted to offer a small gesture of solidarity to congratulate them and draw public attention to the issue. In the end, we were able to gift 2350 Whopphers to women in Saudi Arabian Burger King Drive Ins. A rather small number by Western standards, but quite a big deal for a country where women have been at a disadvantage for centuries.
