Only one in eleven Germans is a registered organ donor - but one in four is tattooed. Together with Junge Helden and the fellow 
colleagues from McCann Paris, we wanted to change that and increase the number of organ donors. So we replaced the organ donor card with an impressive tattoo, designed exclusively for us by black & grey legend Gara.

A tattoo that goes far beyond mere body jewellery - serving both as an unique verification for the status as a registered organ donor and as an unmistakable identifying mark for rescue workers and first responders. And with the perspective of a stylish tattoo that might actually save lives, we were able to turn quite a lot tattoo enthusiasts into organ donors and advocates for the cause. In the end, the idea even convinced 19 members of the Bundestag to have Optink inked onto their skin.
